Capitalism has been the dominant economic system for hundreds of years, and it has brought us great prosperity and wealth. Why would we want to change that?
Distributism seeks to undermine the capitalist system and replace it with a dangerous idea that would lead to chaos and disorder. To change a system that has brought us so much prosperity and wealth would be unfortunate for me and my fellow shareholders.
So, what is this dangerous ideology that distributism seeks to promote? It is the idea that wealth and power should be distributed more evenly throughout society. I know, it sounds crazy, but there are people out there who actually believe this nonsense.
What we need is a strong hierarchy in society, where the few at the top make decisions for the many at the bottom. This is the natural order of things, and has served us well since the dawn of time.
Concentrating power among the elite is, of course, advantageous. It allows those at the top to make decisions they deem best for everyone. This system has worked well for thousands of years, and there is no reason to change it now.
As I write this, I am sitting in my ivory tower, looking down on the world below. I see the chaos and disorder that is caused by the masses, and I am grateful that I am not one of them. I am grateful that I am one of the few, the elite, the chosen ones who have been given the power to rule over the many.
Regards,
A champion of capital
